What is metal-free porcelain?
Although many things affect the image of crowns, the most important is their response to light. Natural teeth pass the light. As a result, the depth and vitality of the tooth is revealed. Porcelain crowns without metal support have a higher depth and vitality due to their light transmission properties, thus achieving the closest results to the natural tooth.

Since metal-free porcelains pass the light, they create an aesthetic very similar to the natural tooth structure, while metal-porcelain has a dullness and artificiality even if it is made very well. For this reason, metal-free porcelain is preferred, especially in the front teeth.

Since there is no metal in the substructure, there is no dark line at the crown-gum level. A more aesthetic appearance is provided.
Metal supported porcelains are mechanically bonded to the teeth. Metal-free porcelain is mechanically and chemically attached to the tooth. Therefore, they have a much higher retention than metal supports.
There is no risk of allergy to some metals (nickel, etc.) used in the infrastructure.

IPS bridges without metal support
It is obtained by compressing the reinforced porcelain in special machines. Especially in the front teeth, it is preferred because of its very good light transmittance. It is not sufficiently resistant to chewing forces for the posterior region.

Zirconium-based bridges without metal support
In this system, zirconium alloy with white color is used instead of metal. The biggest advantage of the system is that it provides a very aesthetic appearance on the bridges in the rear area with its very high durability. Zirconium doped ceramics provide perfect biological harmony and natural appearance with our body. Zirconium oxide, which is a high technology product and has proven its durability as heat shield in space shuttles and brake disc in sports cars, contributes greatly to prosthetic treatment for dentistry.
